Event Description:
Spring break workshops at the Science Factory pack a favorable chance to engage children's scientific minds the last week of March. Spring Break vacation offers an opportunity for children ages 6 to 8 to spring into science in a series of half day workshops run for one full week, March 25 - 29. Participants will keep their brains in gear as they explore a variety of fun science topics including the science behind magnets, sea mammals, chemistry, geology, and more. Morning workshops are from 9 a.m. until noon; afternoon workshops last from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch care is available from noon until 1 p.m. for $3 per day. Parents may sign up for half or full days at $20 per session or $17 for Science Factory members. Signing up for all ten programs will insure a discounted rate per session. Advance registration is required. Parents can find full descriptions of workshops and a program registration form can be found on the web
